The products crafted by CreativeCrete handmade in the heart of Calaveras County—engineered and manufactured utilizing over a decade of concrete experience.
Our Mission and Philosophy
CreativeCrete diligently works to craft all our products utilizing recycled, reused, and reclaimed (RRR) materials, as well as utilizing processing techniques focused on ECO friendly choices. All of our crafted products are guaranteed to consist of the highest percentage of RRR materials available to be used, while maintaining a continued focus on the long term durability and wear of our products. We, at CreativeCrete, continue to be pioneers in the utilization of green materials for solid surfaces and elements, aligning ourselves with companies focused on emerging green technologies. We are uncompromising on the use of ECO friendly materials and techniques that help maintain an earth friendly presence for the next generations to come.
All of our product materials consist of 80-90% post consumer and post industrial recycled waste content, helping keep waste out of our landfills.
- All aggregates and stones are recycled materials utilized from the Mother Lode California gold rush mine tailings. Carson Hill Mine, in Angels Camp California, was an operating mine since the late 1800’s.
- All sands are from post consumer and post industrial waste.
- Specialty glass and ceramics recycled from California based companies that would otherwise send their waste to the local landfills.
- 50-60% of our cement binder material is from industrial waste. We use recycled glass pozzolan materials, Silica Fume, or Fly Ash binders.
- All pigments are from natural organic sources. We don’t use chemical derivative pigments.
- Because of the green house effect caused by Portland cement production techniques, we use little to no Portland cement in our products, instead we have perfected utilization of portland replacement products from post industrial waste and ultra low carbon binder products that do not contribute to CO2 emissions like Portland cement.
- Utilization of local resources, local labor forces, and fuels the local economies in producing our products. We do our best to use materials that are local to California. This is our effort to cut down on shipping and fossil fuel consumption.
- We use a green, no VOC, water based, food safe penetrating sealing solution. A chemical reactive sealing treatment designed and engineered for specialty concrete.
Our shop techniques
- We believe in renewable energy and resources. Our shop is powered by a 16kw solar array.
- Dry polishing and processing. This allows the re-use of sands and powders made during our processing to be used in our cast products, while minimizing the use of water waste use during our processing.
- Any of our castings can be broken down and reused in further castings.
Recycling our own products
- Any of cast stone products that we make can be broken down and introduced back into the environment. It is nice to know anything we make can be recycled into the ECO system without causing detrimental effects to the environment.
- We truly believe in waste not want not.
Solid Surfaces
EC-Surfaces solid surface materials are made to handle the use and abuse of a normal family environment. They are made to be durable, functional, and esthetic. The surfaces are sanded and honed to various degrees. With choices of matte, satin, or high polish finishes, our surfaces are versatile enough to satisfy any design need.
We are proud to present surfaces that need very little continued maintenance. The choices in materials used to create our solid surface material evolve around long term durability.
Basic colors for materials can be picked from the Benjamin Moore color palate. With various casting surfaces and processing techniques the solid surfaces can meet any design criteria.
Surfaces are warranted against structural cracking, warping, and curling.
Several Edge profiles are available, everything from chiseled edges, to simple round over designs. We can create the edge profile and the look needed to finalize the look of any project.
Consider our surface material simply as a moldable material. We have the experience to help minimize the available choices, but relish our ability to create special projects.
With available standard colors, sample pieces are available to help narrow the range of choices.
Integrated sinks
For a clean, seamless transition of countertops and sink bowls, the integrated sink design allows for a unique functional appearance. The vanity tops crafted with integrated sinks are done in a style that invokes a clean fluid line that moves from the surface top through the sink bowl. The fluid transition in the tops is reminiscent of hand carved stone and the continual transition of color seen in natural elements.
This style allows for an easy to clean surface that is highly resistant to staining by many household products to include soap scum and fingernail polish remover.
The integrated design allows for large single vanity tops that incorporate style and function into one piece. With classic style and timeless design the integral sink can be incorporated into any room of a house.
Integrated sink styles include standard round bottom, square round bottom, oval round bottom, trough basin, and tapered edge.
Round Vessel Sinks
The round vessel sink creations in EC-Surfaces can be anything from elegant to eclectic, smooth finished to rough hammered feels. The vessel sink designs are cast with a pedestal for easy top mount on countertops, or they can be recessed to standard depths of 1” to 3”. These sinks are unique pieces of art that are hand crafted out of the finest materials that can be offered.

Taper Flat Bottom Vessel Sinks
The taper vessel sink creations in EC-Surfaces can be anything from elegant to eclectic, smooth finished to rough hammered feels. The vessel sink designs are cast for an easy top mount on countertops, or they can be recessed to standard depths of 1” to 3”. These sinks are unique pieces of art that are hand crafted out of the finest materials nature can offer.

Self Rimming Sinks
The self rimming sink has specialty reinforcement to handle being rested on the top of the countertop suspended by a cast rim design. Self rimming sinks can be used as top mount, self rimming, or undermount specifications. These sinks are made to easily incorporate as part of any countertop material, but they are especially highlighted when coupled with a countertop with similar colors and designs.
From elegant to hammered stone textures these sinks have amazing character sure to fit any design feature.
